If you're logged in as a haulier, you can also sub-out your job to other haulier by posting a new job. When this happens, you are now automatically becoming a job lister.
This is the guide of self-manage changes for Lister that make any changes in their Linkhaul job.
What does Self-Manage Changes mean?
Self-manage changes means changes that can be made or to be made by your own after the job is submitted.
There are two categories of changes that occurs in Linkhaul:
Category 1: Changes with No Approval Required
- Changes made by you for jobs with required date / RFC more than a day (no approval is required).
- Email notification will be sent to both lister & haulier for the changes made.
- All changes made will be available in Audit Log for reference.
Category 2: Changes with Approval Required
- Changes made by lister within a day of the required date or after the job started (subject to approval for any changes made)
- Email notification (with detail changes) will be sent to both lister & haulier for the changes made.
- Once haulier accepted/approved the changes, the job will be updated with the new changed information.
- All changes made will be available in Audit Log for reference.
Category 1: Changes with No Approval Required
If your job's required date is more than today's date, all the changes you make will be auto updated to the job with an email notification to both the Lister and Haulier. Detail of the changes made is available in the audit log for reference.
1. Changes can be done at job level:
- Booking Number (B/L)
- Liner/Operator Code
- Destination Port
- Vessel detail (SCN)
- Pickup/Dropoff Port
2. Changes need to be done at first container level:
Lister is required to make the changes in the container level 001 for the changes to be shown in the job header once changes applied:
- Required Date
- Delivery Window
- Delivery Place
- Pickup/Dropoff Depot
3. Click on "Update" button once you have made the changes to apply the changes:
4. Email notification will be sent to both Lister & Haulier and you may click job number link for the changes:
5. All changes made are available in the respective job's Audit Log and you view the details in the 'New Value' column for the new changes made.
Category 2: Changes with Approval Required
Any changes made within a day of the required date or after the job started would require approval.
For lister to amend their job details, go to any posted job in Linkhaul, then select any fields that you would like to amend:
1. Changes can be done at job level:
- Booking Number (B/L)
- Liner/Operator Code
- Destination Port
- Vessel detail (SCN)
- Pickup/Dropoff Port
2. Changes need to be done at first container level:
Lister is required to make the changes in the container level 001 for the changes to be shown in the job header once changes applied:
- Required Date
- Delivery Window
- Delivery Place
- Pickup/Dropoff Depot
For an example, Lister would like to amend the required date, delivery window, delivery address.
a. Lister is required to amend job details container 001 for the changes to reflect in the whole job as below:
b. Once changes saved, click the Update at the bottom of the job to save the changes.
c. After clicking Update, your changes will be sent as a change request pending for your haulier's approval.
Your changes are shown in Change Request which can be seen at the top page of your job as below:
d. You can click on the Change Request to view on your previous change details & you may also undo your changes by clicking 'Withdraw' in the Change Request window & click 'Close' to proceed the changes.
e. You will then receive an email notification once haulier has approved your Change Request:
f. Changes applied/updated - the job details will be updated upon approval/acceptance of the change request:

All the changes are available in the audit log in respective job for reference.
You can either review your approved change details by clicking the 'i' symbol at the Change Request as shown below:

Any changes needed after job is completed
If any changes required after the job completed, drop a message in our Correspondence section. The message will be notifying your haulier and Linkhaul admin to follow up the necessary.
